Welcome!

My name is Dr. Kristan Melo.

I am a New York State Licensed Psychologist and a Certified School Psychologist dedicated to providing therapy to adults, teens, children, and families. I have over 10 years of experience working in the field of psychology. 

I am a neurodivergent-affirming therapist.

I am also neurodivergent. 

That means I value and embrace all the ways our brains work, all things that make us uniquely us.  I draw on lived experience as well as professional knowledge to help you. I will treat you as a whole person, understanding that your mental health is influenced by your brain's unique wiring, your environment, and your life circumstances. 

Whether you're seeking support for neurodevelopmental differences, anxiety, depression, life transitions,  mental wellness, or self-understanding, my goal is to help you thrive as your authentic self.
